Weep No More

Can you feel the excitement already? There’s something about this topic that brings hope to the heart and joy to the soul. This article is for you. Read on and you’ll be convinced but you have to join me in a little tour. We want to take a peek at some folks’ private life. Mind you, we must not be caught, okay?

Come this way. Can you see her? She’s over there on the floor, her skirt is marred and her eyes are all wet. This cute girl just fell down, bruised her knee and soiled the white dress her mother just bought her. She’s really crying. Should we go meet her? Oh wait! Here comes a lady. Could that be her mother? She comes over, carries the girl on her laps, hugs her close and says “Don’t cry my dear. Mummy is here! It’s okay. I’ll clean up the wound.” The girl is quite relieved but looks down at her soiled dress and the tears spill out again. “Don’t worry about the dress” her mother says. “I’ll buy you a new one. You’ll be fine again.” Wow…can you see the drastic transformation on the girl’s face? Her face has brightened up; so much relief. The tears are no more spilling over her beautiful cheeks...so magical!

Let’s take a peek at this class. Everyone seems excited about the Math sum they’re asked to solve. But there’s a boy right in front. He’s so eager to solve the sum but finds it rather impossible. He shakes his head and his eyes fill. Can you hear his thoughts? I can…can you too? That’s great. Let’s listen together. He’s remembering how he failed last term and got the beating of his life at home. He’s afraid it would happen again. ‘Hey boy!’ He looks up. His Math teacher is in front of him. He places a hand on his shoulder, smiles at him and says. ‘Don’t cry. I know how you feel. From today I promise to take you personal lessons free of charge till you’re very good in Math.’ The boy’s mouth opens, he can’t believe it. A smile gradually forms on his face and he says thank you over and again, unable to contain the excitement he feels.

I was just touched by the two circumstances of the lads we sneaked up on. I’m glad we were not caught poke nosing. But dear, did you notice something special in either or both scenarios? Did it remind you of you? If it didn’t, let me help you see you in either or both of them.

Have you willfully or otherwise lost something precious? Have you lost your virginity? Were you raped? Were you introduced into a bad habit at an early age and now, it seems there’s no going back? Have you soiled the flawless character you once had? Have you lost the zeal and passion you once had for God? Dear friend, is there something you’ve lost or damaged that brings you so much pain anytime you remember it? Is there something you wish you could undo; you wish God would just turn back the hands of time, so you could make sure it never happened. Something; a memory or circumstance that keeps your pillow wet.

On the other hand, like our Math boy, is there something you’ve been trying to do or achieve over and again and it just seems impossible. Is it passing an exam? Is it JAMB? Is it stopping a bad habit? Is it improving your relationship with God? Is it staying away from a particular set of friends? What is it that you want to stop but find yourself going back to again, causing to weep? What is that thing you want to achieve and keeps eluding you, leaving you in a pit of sorrow and tears?

There’s a word God is bringing you through MINE Magazine April/May 2009 edition; a prophetic word for you, and I beg you to receive it into your life. God says “…… Weep No More!” I want you to write your name on those six dots, and confess it to yourself right now. I didn’t hear you! Say it one more time!

Yes dear, Weep No More! Your father, the Almighty God is telling you to dry your tears, He’s bringing you into A New Dawn (Mind you, that’s what He would have me write on next edition, get ready for it!) Friend, God is wiping away your tears right now, please allow Him to and trust Him with your hurts, pains, mistakes, weaknesses because He is ready to help you.

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) “Are you tired? Worn out? …Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me-watch how I do it…I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you…Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

I think you read those verses too fast. Please read the above paragraph again, slowly, with a desire to catch something. Now read these two.
Mark 9:23 (KJV) “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
Phil 4:13 (CEV) “Christ gives me the strength to face anything”

Friend, when you hand over your life to God totally, he wipes away your past and gives you a new beginning. He also gives you the ability to do and achieve things you had hitherto tried to achieve without much success.

First things first, if you haven’t given your life to Jesus, you’re telling God you can handle your life without Him. My dear, you CANNOT! You NEED God. Please pray the Love Prayer beneath this article right now.

Congrats friend! You now have the ticket to ride on the ‘Weep No More’ Train. Everyone reading this, it’s time for us all to say a prayer. I’m going to say it as well. God is ready to help us. He only needs us to ask Him. Are you ready?

“Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your word to me. I’m glad you understand my pains and you’ve promised to wipe away my tears. I come to you and release myself to you. Please heal me of all my past hurts, restore to me ALL that I have lost and help me to achieve those things that had been difficult for me so far. I ask you, receiving with faith and thanksgiving in Jesus name, Amen”

Amen! It’s done. This prayer was short because of space. Please right now and in your quite time, take time to pray it over again, and mention your peculiar case(s) to God. He loves you and will definitely wipe your tears and give you pure joy and satisfaction. Whenever you remember your past or your failures, what should you do? Cast your cares on Jesus, depend on His strength and Weep No More!

The Love Prayer
Dear God, I have heard about your love and I thank you for loving me in spite of my many sins and weaknesses. I believe, Jesus, that you’re the son of God and that you died and rose again to save me. I repent of my sins and forsake them. I will live to please you as your Holy Spirit helps me. I receive you into my heart and I ask that you make me yours forever. Help me to be your friend and may we love and honor each other for all eternity. Thank you Father for accepting me. I have prayed in Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, please send an e-mail to us at justaboutmine@yahoo.com and we’ll be quick to get back to you to stand by you in this new adventure of life.
